Marina is 100% resistant to all debilitating effects except status down. Walking through poisoned water will still add afflictions but she shouldn't be poisoned, blinded, or silenced in combat outside of water.
Inclined as a medicant, she will heal her allies before attacking. If she doesn't, you can command her to heal her allies by pressing left or right on the directional buttons.
